Ben Aaron ( Full name Benjamin Aron Colonomos) is an American journalist. He currently serves as a featured correspondent on the 9 – 11 a.m. hours of the PIX11 Morning News. Ben became part of the team as part of an expansion of the show in 2020. Before that, he was in a two-year run as co-host of the nationally syndicated Pickler & Ben with Kellie Pickler.
His role on the show won him two Daytime Emmy Award nominations for “Best Host.” Previously Ben worked for a decade at New York Live, where his segments as a feature reporter garnered four Emmy Awards. Formerly, Ben worked for NBCUniversal’s LXTV, WNBC’s New York Live, as well as for the nationally syndicated Crazy Talk tv series.
From 2017 to 2019, Ben served as a co-host of the nationally syndicated TV talk show called Pickler & Ben. His show co-host was country artist Kellie Pickler. However, in March 2019, the show was canceled after only two seasons. In January 2020, Ben became a featured reporter for the PIX11 Morning News on WPIX-TV based in New York.
