Austin Dillon (Full Name: Austin Reed Dillon) is a popular American professional stock car racing driver and reality TV show actor. Besides, Austin competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the number 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing.
He is the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion as well as the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion plus the winner of the 2018 Daytona 500. He also received the Rookie of the Year award in both series in the year before he received the championship (2010 and 2012, respectively). Austin also holds the record for most continuous poles in the Nationwide (now Xfinity) Series with four.
He started began his racing career in the Bandolero Mini Cars series and the Legend Cars Series. A year afterward, Austin began dirt track racing at dirt late model racer Dale McDowell’s school. In 2019, Austin made a cameo in the movie Stuber with his brother Ty and fellow driver Daniel Suárez.
