Ann Mercogliano is an American journalist who joined INSIDE EDITION in August 2015 as a New York-based Correspondent. Currently, Ann covers everything from breaking news to feature stories and in-depth investigations. Most recently, she extensively covered the coronavirus pandemic and the movement for racial equality.
In 2017, her investigation revealed that some hotels did not change bedsheets between guests. Ann’s work was recognized with a Clarion Award. In July of the same year, she discussed her investigation into chemical-free insect repellents on “The Dr. Oz Show.”She and the INSIDE EDITION team were acknowledged with a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2017 for the Outstanding Entertainment News Program.
After graduating from GWU, Ann went to pursue her dream career in journalism by working on different assignment desks in New York City.
