Andy Baskin is an American journalist and sports writer and host. Currently, he serves as a new sports columnist for the Cleveland Jewish Publication Company. Andy joined the station in April 2021. He followed in the footsteps of the late Les Levine, who died on February 3, 2012, at age 74, and wrote a weekly sports column in the CJN from 2011 to 2021.
He served as a member of the AEPi fraternity at Kent State University in Kent. Andy has also been a regular panelist at the CJN’s annual sports-talk event, “Les is More,” which was hosted by Levine. He received his bar mitzvah at Heights Jewish Center Synagogue in University Heights.
