Amber Sullins is an American journalist. She currently serves as the Chief Meteorologist for ABC15 News. Amber joined the ABC15 weather team in September 2009 from Southwest. She had a love for the monsoon from a young age, which led her to pursue a career in Meteorology. Amber served at the National Weather Service while she was still attending the University of Arizona.
She currently serves on the advisory board for the Hydrology and Atmospheric Science Department. This has helped Amber stay connected to her alma mater. She began her television career at KVIA-TV based in El Paso, Texas. Amber holds two back-to-back awards from Texas Associated Press Broadcasters for Best Weathercasts in 2007 as well as 2008.
