Later on, Alyson set her sights on reporting and became a one-man band. Yes, she shot and edited all her own stories behind the camera then stepped in front of it. She explains, “I learned a lot. It was the hardest job I’ve ever had, but an experience I would never trade.”
She has also covered important events, people, and issues all over the state and has also won multiple Associated Press awards, Edward R. Murrow awards, as well as she, has been nominated for an Emmy due to her reports on the dangers of drunk driving.
