Alexis Fields is a popular American actress who portrayed Sharla Morrison in Kenan & Kel. She is best known for frequent roles throughout the 1990s on sitcoms like Kenan & Kel, The Secret World of Alex Mack, and Sister, Sister. In 2019, Alexia began to play Denise Patterson in the TV series All American.
She was noticed by critics when she joined the cast of the FOX series Roc in 1993 as 11–year–old Sheila Hendricks. The Chicago Sun-Times called Alexis “sweet and believable as Sheila” but found her storyline “disturbing.” Alexis’s first film role came in the 2001 crime drama Jacked. Her early appearances on the show Roc helped get her noticed at the age of 14. In 1994 Alexis was cast in the role of Nicole Wilson on The Secret World of Alex Mack, and then in 1998, she joined the cast of Sister, Sister.
Alexis also appeared regularly on Kenan & Kel and Moesha. She was cast in her first major film role in 2001 when she played the role of Monique Harris in House Party 4: Down to the Last Minute. In 2007, she appeared on stage with her sister Kim in the play Issues: We All Got ‘Em, performed at Memorial Auditorium, Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina.
