Erika joined WCVB Channel 5 as their anchor and reporter for NewsCenter 5 in February 2014. She co-anchored WCVB’s Midday news at noon. Also, Erika contributed reports for WCVB’s award-winning local news magazine, known as Chronicle. Prior to joining WCVB, Erika was working for News 4 New York, NBC’s flagship station in New York City.
While there, she anchored the weekend newscast and was also a primary fill-in co-anchor for WNBC’s weekday morning newscast show called “Today in New York.” Erika has reported on major stories such as the death of Pope John Paul II as well as the election of Pope Benedict. She also covered Superstorm Sandy and the tragic shootings in Newtown, CT.
