Eddie Huang (Full Name: Edwyn Charles Huang) is an American chef, restaurateur, film director, attorney, and producer.
He is popularly recognized for his Fresh Off the Boat biography which was adapted into the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat. Huang is the co-owner of BaoHaus, an agua bao restaurant in the East Village of Lower Manhattan. Previously from 2006 to 2009, Huang ran “Hoodman Clothing,” a sweat wear company initially called “Bergdorf Hoodman.”
Additionally, he has hosted several television shows including Cheap Bites and Snack Off which featured Huang, mentoring contestants participating in challenges that determine who can whip up the tastiest treats using random ingredients.
