Markos co-founded SB Nation, a collection of sports blogs, which is now a part of Vox Media. Currently, he resides in Berkeley, California, with his two children. After graduating from Schaumburg High School in Schaumburg, Illinois, Markos served in the U.S. Army from 1989 through 1992.
