Dr Laura ( Full name: Laura Catherine Schlessinger) is an American talk radio host and author. She hosts a show called “The Dr. Laura Program,” which is heard for three hours every weekday on Sirius XM Radio. The show mainly consists of Laura’s responses to callers’ requests for personal advice. Also, the show often features her short monologues on social and political topics.
According to her website, the show “preaches, teaches, and nags about morals, values, and ethics.”Laura has already been inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in Chicago. The remains of her body were found about two months after she died in her Beverly Hills condo. After she learned about the death of her mother, Laura said: “Apparently she had no friends and none of her neighbors were close, so nobody even noticed! How sad.”
Because of the circumstances surrounding her mother’s death, Laura wrote that she had been attacked in a “vulgar, inhumane manner by media types” in 2006. The false allegation had been made that Laura was unfit to dispense advice based on family values. However, Laura defended herself and said that she did not mourn the death of her parents since she had no emotional bond with them.

Lewis’ divorce from his first wife was finalized in 1979 and he married Laura in 1985. Lewis died on November 2, 2015.
