Hiawatha Bray is an American journalist and technology columnist. Currently, he serves as a technology columnist for The Boston Globe business section which he joined in 1995.

Bray has contributed to a number of newspapers and magazines including Fast Company, Wired, and Black Enterprise. In addition to his career, he also serves as a deacon at the Peoples Baptist Church of Boston, one of the nation’s oldest black churches.

Bray became honored by the National Association of Black Journalists. he also received the John Hancock Award for Business Journalism. Additionally, Marketing Computers magazine named him as one of the 10 most influential newspaper journalists covering technology. Bray also received an Overseas Press Club award for his work on the internet in Africa.
