Katie Emmer is an American reporter. She currently serves as an on-air host and reporter at Bally Sports North. Katie joined the network in August 2021. Formerly, Katie worked for FOX Sports North. Prior to joining the Fox network, she worked for NBC Sports Philadelphia as a reporter. Katie is a sports enthusiast who is passionate about people and storytelling. The reporter discovered her passion for storytelling while at SCSU.
While there, Katie fell in love with broadcast journalism during her first year while working for the Husky Hockey Men’s and Women’s teams. Katie worked as the Rink Side Reporter and also as an In-Studio Host for St. Cloud State Hockey. There, she joined an award-winning student crew, Husky Productions. They covered live games that aired on Fox Sports North in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Katie was between the glass for every intermission interview. Additionally, she worked in the studio for intermission reports where she covered highlights and stats.
