Prior to becoming an intern for Gray Television, she was a New Member Chairperson for Kappa Kappa Gamma in Morgantown, West Virginia from December 2011 to December 2012. While there, Taylor was in charge of educating new member classes in the sorority. Moreover, she was required to set and maintain a budget for her position. Taylor also held weekly meetings with the company-new member class and served as a liaison between the new member class and the sorority.
From June 2012 to August 2012, She worked as an intern for West Virginia Power where she had many different responsibilities for the minor league baseball park. In addtion, Taylor was the 2011 Miss WV Timber & Wood Queen for West Virginia Forestry Association from March 2011 to March 2012. while there, she had an opportunity to attend the WV Forestry Association’s annual convention at Canaan Valley.
