Bob Brinker (Full Name: Robert John Brinker) is a popular American financial advisor and radio host. From 1986 until 2018, Bob hosted the syndicated financial radio show Moneytalk. He formerly had a show on local New York radio on WMCA. Before that Bob hosted talk radio programs on WCAU (now WPHT) and WWDB in Philadelphia. He started publishing the Markettimer newsletter in 1986. The last edition of the Markettimer newsletter was published in June 2023.

In 1970, Bob joined Provident National Bank as a portfolio manager. In 1973, Bob worked as an investment officer with New Jersey National Bank. While serving in New Jersey, Bob was the adjunct professor of finance at Rider College in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He worked as a vice president and investment counselor with the Bank of New York from 1974 until 1981. Then from 1981 until 1992, Bob was U.S. chief investment officer with the London-based British firm Guardian Royal Exchange Assurance. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society in New York.
