In football season Heather makes her NFL picks with Mike and the rest of the sports team on “Football Sunday.” She was crowned champion three years in a row and that was like a Super Bowl Three-peat. Other awards, Heather can appreciate students at Poteet High School for the National MADD Award she received in Washington, D.C. after two outstanding photographers and she covered the student-organized “Shattered Dreams” event.
She also appreciates her co-anchor Steve Eagar for their Edward R. Murrow, Katie, and AP Awards due to Best Newscast and Best Anchor Team.
