Kelcey Carlson is an American reporter and anchor. She currently works as a news anchor at KMSP-FOX 9 channel based in Minneapolis and St Paul. After college, Kelcey worked as a waitress and did other odd jobs for 2 years. Kelcey finally secured her first journalism job with Freedom Broadcasting (WWMT-TV) based in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She worked there for 5 years. In July 2003, Kelcey joined WRAL-TV as their weekend news anchor. She was a fill-in for Lynda Loveland as a weekday morning news anchor in 2009. Kelcey then joined the KMSP Fox 9 news team giving the evening bulletin in January 2014 after working for 10 years at WRAL. There, she served as a weekend producer, Kelcey quickly thrust into several big stories in her first two months such as the crash of flight TWA 800, Hurricanes Bertha as well as Fran. She, later on, earned herself a position to serve as a “one-man-band” reporter and photographer.
