Wood is also known for portraying Brooke Payne on the BET miniseries The New Edition Story in 2017. From 2016 through 2017, Wood portrayed Barry Fouray on VH1 miniseries The Breaks. Most recently, Wood played Damon Cross on the Fox series Empire for its fifth and last sixth season.
