GradeAUnderA ( Real name: Ram Karavadra) is an English YouTuber and commentator. He is best known for his comedic style of commentary videos on different subjects. Ram was one of the leading YouTube commentators in the mid-2010s. Before he became a YouTuber, Ram was a maths teacher. Ram showed a college graduation picture of himself on May 15, 2016, in his video titled How To Find Any Songs Name (+ 2M Face Reveal). In the picture, he looked happy and clean-shaven.
After being inactive for nearly six weeks, Ram stated on May 22, 2017, that he had “life issues” to handle but that he would upload in a few days. However, the Youtuber added that he would not upload another video until another four months had passed. In response to PewDiePie being accused of being a Neo-Nazi, Ran started a two-part video series discussing his thoughts on the situation. He started the series on February 27, 2017.

Ram was doing a Twitch stream on February 7, 2017, and during the stream, he was trying to turn on a camera that showed the back of his head. However, he accidentally turned on a different camera that was pointed directly at him. It took Ram two seconds to realize the issue and turned off the camera though it was too late, he had already revealed his face. When compared to his old college photo and his accidental face reveal on Twitch, Ram looked older and had a beard.

He uploaded a new video for the first time in over a year titled “Political Correctness Manual 2019 – Things You Can’t Say” on January 1, 2019. The episode is listed as ‘Season 3’, although the aforementioned Season 2 was never made. Ram accused the clip of the song “The Laughing Policeman” by Charles Penrose that he used in his outro of getting several of his videos hit with copyright claims.
According to the video, he was making approximately £900 (or $1100) for every 24 million views and had lost most of his revenue because of the song he used. The song got his channel demonetized by YouTube. Ram changed his outro song and released a video on dreams two days later, despite the loss in revenue. Although he had promised in his antidepressants video that he was back to uploading regularly and not going on abrupt hiatuses, Ram went on yet another hiatus for 8 months. He uploaded his first video of Season 5 on March 27, 2021, in the start of the video, he claims that his hiatus was because he ‘got pregnant’.
