As a group, the members produce online videos, most often consisting of sketches, video-game, commentary, and challenges. They also sell exclusive Sidemen merchandise on their website. Simon, along with fellow Sidemen members Olatunji, Brown, Bradley, and Barn created the YouTuber influencer event Upload in 2016. They gathered gaming, music, and comedy content creators. A second edition was in September 2017. As an influencer, Simon helped test an app called Mykicks by using it in his videos.
The app could apparently measure anyone’s shooting skills. It also briefly passed FIFA’s official World Cup app with the help of Simon and other YouTube influencers like ChrisMD. Olatunji tweeted in August 2017 that he would be leaving the Sidemen because of conflicts with fellow member Ethan Payne. Shortly afterward, he released several diss track videos criticizing the members of his then-former group.
