Lifestyle influencer Lydia brought modern glamour to her country home in 2019. She spent the last 12 months renovating her dream country home in Buckinghamshire. Lydia was inspired by muted tones, contrasting textures, and modern British glamour. Her front door is one of her favorite parts of the home. It’s big and wide and Lydia always knew she wanted to make a feature of it.
The biggest project of the home the hallways. She wanted to create a charming space with maximum brightness, so she used white paint for the walls and added paneling on the bottom half to add character. Lydia had two new staircases built, removing the old modern glass design and opting for a modern New England style to add a grand feel. In warmer months, it makes the perfect space for entertaining which she absolutely loves to do. The Powder Room was where Lydia was able to have fun and experiment with it. It was her mission to create a bedroom that is a sanctuary for sleep. In her first home, she did her best t to keep it clutter-free, but her new house came with much more space and the very first ensuite.
