He has been part of the corporation for four decades that is from 1982 to 2022, during his time there Simon has worked across three stations Radio 1, Radio 2, and Radio 5. Due to his outstanding work, Simon was named “Radio Broadcaster of the Year” at the 34th annual Broadcasting Press Guild Awards in 2008.
