Tim Bontemps is an American journalist and reporter. Currently, he serves as an NBA ESPN writer, based in Boston. Previously, Tim served as worked as The Washington Post’s national NBA writer. While there, he hosted the “Posting Up” podcast and wrote the “Monday Morning Post Up” newsletter.
He joined The Post in 2015 and left in October 2018. Tim combined his knack for writing and adoration for sports to enroll in St Bonaventure University to get a degree in Broadcast Journalism, graduating in 2007. His career began after starting as a sports intern at The Buffalo News in 2006.
