She began working there immediately after graduating from the University of Oregon where she earned her degree in journalism in 1999.
From KEZI, Stephanie went to join KOBI based in Medford. Later, she went to work for KTRV based in Boise. After a period of three years, she went on to become a weekend weather anchor and weekday reporter at KXLY based in Spokane. In 2004, Stephanie completed the Meteorology program at the Mississippi State University Broadcast and became a certified meteorologist.
She finally landed her dream job in her hometown of Portland In 2005. Well, Stephanie actually grew up in Gresham. She has been working at KPTV for more than ten years now.
