Rowan Moore ( Full name: Rowan William Gillachrist Moore ) is an American architecture critic. He served as the editor of the architecture journal Blueprint, the architecture editor of Evening Standard (London), and wrote for The Guardian as well. Rowan succeeded Lucy Musgrave as director of the Architecture Foundation in 2002.

However, he resigned in 2008 amid speculation that the failure of a commission for Zaha Hadid to design new headquarters for the institution had left “everyone disappointed and angry”.
