Richard Roeper ( Full Name: Richard E. Roeper) is a preeminent film critic and columnist who works at The Chicago Sun-Times. From 2000 to 2008, he co-hosted with Roger Ebert the television series At the Movies. Richard served there as the late Gene Siskel’s successor.
Previously, he worked alongside Roe Conn hosting The Roe and Roeper Show from 2010 to 2014 on WLS-AM. Furthermore, Richard was commissioned by FOX 32 on October 19, 2015, as the new host of Good Day Chicago. He worked there as the host up to October 2017.

After the demise of the American film critic and journalist Gene Siskel on February 20, 1999, Roger co-hosted Siskel & Ebert with nearly thirty guest critics. Richard was offered the chance to permanently co-host the popular film review show after ten appearances on the program. In 2000, the show was eventually renamed Ebert & Roeper and the Movies. In the year 2002, the title was truncated to Ebert & Roeper.
