Nicole Briscoe Infertility

She and her husband have two daughters Finley Briscoe, and Blake James Briscoe. Her journey to motherhood was very difficult according to Nicole. After she and her husband tried for 15 months to conceive their own children with no luck, they turned to fertility treatments. The couple had six intrauterine inseminations (IUIs) and, when those didn’t work out as expected, they moved to multiple rounds of in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Their first daughter Finley was born after that first round of IVF. The IVF first round yielded two embryos one which was Finley, who stuck upon their transfer, and the other embryo that did not stick after transfer. Their second daughter, Blake was born after other rounds of IVF, but this time the process was more challenging and difficult. This was because the couple had faced so many challenges including several miscarriages, and a very surprising and shocking discovery. Nicole was found with severe endometriosis.

Nicole had gone through 10 years of infertility, countless miscarriages, an abdominal ectopic pregnancy, two healthy pregnancies, and yet the doctors had not known she had endometriosis. She went through abdominal ectopic surgery in January 2021, after she had a miscarriage due to an abdominal ectopic pregnancy. Nicole says she has had terrible periods her entire life.
