Lisa Randall Physicist, Height, Harvard, Husband, and Net Worth

Lisa Randall Biography

Lisa Randall is a popular American Harvard University theoretical physicist and Frank B. Baird, Jr. Professor of Science. Her research includes the fundamental forces of nature and measures of space. She learns the Standard Model, supersymmetry, possible determinations to the hierarchy issue concerning the relative weakness of gravity, cosmology of proportions, baryogenesis, cosmological inflation, as well as dark matter.

Lisa kicked into the Randall–Sundrum model, first released in 1999 with Raman Sundrum. Lisa has authored five books on scientific topics like space and the universe to dark matter. She is one of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (2004) members. In 2007, Lisa was on the list of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People”. Prof. Lisa was one of Esquire Magazine’s “75 Most Influential People” in 2008.

Early Life And Education

She was born in Queens, New York City, New York to her parents. Lisa’s father worked as a sales rep while her mom stayed at home to look after her three children. She holds American nationality. Her sister Dana Randall is a Georgia Institute of Technology adjunct professor of mathematics. Before Dana worked as the executive director of the Georgia Tech Institute of Data Engineering and Science.

In 1980, Lisa graduated from Stuyvesant High School. Later on, she enrolled at Harvard University, where she took Math 55, received a BA in physics in 1983 as well as a PhD in theoretical particle physics in 1987 under Howard Georgi.

Lisa Randall Husband

Lisa isn’t married and doesn’t have children. She spends the bulk of her time teaching, writing, and promoting her books.

Lisa Randall Physicist

Lisa studies particle physics and cosmology at Harvard, where she works as a professor of theoretical physics. Her study concerns elementary particles and fundamental forces, and has taken part in the study of a wide range of models, the most recent involving dimensions. Lisa has also served on supersymmetry, Standard Model observables, cosmological inflation, baryogenesis, grand unified theories, and general relativity.

Following her graduate work at Harvard, she held professorships at MIT and Princeton University prior to coming back to Harvard in 2001. Professor Lisa was the first working woman in the Princeton Physics Department and the first serving female theoretical physicist at Harvard.

She loves pursuing connections between science and art. Besides writing the libretto for the opera Hypermusic, Lisa has co-curated an exhibit for the Los Angeles Art Association.

Professor Lisa does theoretical particle physics and cosmology at Harvard Campus. Her work connects theoretical insights to puzzles in our present understanding of the plots and interactions of matter. Lisa has created and studied many models to address these questions, the most famous involving extra dimensions of space.

Lisa has an IQ of above 135.

She was born in Queens, New York City, New York, to her parents. When she was young, Lisa loved mathematics because every problem had an answer. Her aptitude for science started at a young age and became evident when in high school she placed first in the Intel competition.

Lisa is a woman of above-average stature who stands at a height of 5ft 10in (approx.1.78m).

Net Worth

Lisa has been a Frank B. Baird, Jr. Professor of Science at Harvard University since 2001. Therefore, she has earned a decent fortune over the years. Lisa’s net worth is $3 million.
