While in her final year of college, she joined the staff of the CMU Public Broadcasting Center serving the Central, and Northern portions of Michigan. Letitia also hosted various programs on the television while working as a radio producer and host of NPR’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

She has served on many boards and committees such as the United Negro College Fund, the Aids Foundation, and Children Medical Center’s Special Needs Blood Drive advisory board.
