During his tenure with the Cubs, he was awarded the Harry Cara 2011 Sportscaster of the Year Award from the Hit Club and Pitch of Chicago. However, in December 2020, Len shared the news that he was leaving the Cubs to join the Chicago White Sox radio announcing booth.
