Currently, he serves as a Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in La Mirada, California. Additionally, Moreland specializes in philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and Christian Philosophy.
His work has been published in journals such as Metaphilosophy and the American Philosophical Quarterly and by presses such as Intervarsity Press, NavPress, Zondervan, and Oxford University Press among others. Moreland is a recipient of the Rollin Thomas Chafer Award in Christian Apologetics, Dallas Seminary, Academic Excellence Award, and the Outstanding Professor of the Year Award.
