Jon Reep is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He is known as the “That thing got a Hemi?” guy in Dodge commercials starting in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, Jon played the recurring character Police Officer Gerald Bob in the ABC sitcom Rodney. In 2007, he received the fifth season of Last Comic Standing on NBC.
While attending North Carolina State University Jon started performing stand-up comedy at the Goodnights comedy club. After graduating he was employed at UNC-TV where he became the assistant director of TV shows such as “North Carolina Now” & “Legislative Week in Review”, while at night simultaneously honing his skills as a stand-up comedian. In 1998 Jon left UNC-TV to pursue comedy full time.
