Jena Griswold (Full name: Jena Marie Griswold) is an American attorney and politician from the state of Colorado. She is a democrat and the 39th Colorado Secretary of State, serving since January 8, 2019. Griswold assumed office on January 8, 2019, where the term ends on January 10, 2023. She is also the youngest elected Secretary of State in the United States. She located in Washington, D.C. in 2011, and served for President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign as a voter protection attorney. In 2013, Governor John Hickenlooper appointed Griswold to be his liaison to the federal government.
