Jeff Jacoby is an American syndicated newspaper columnist and politically conservative journalist. He currently serves as an op-ed columnist at the Boston Globe. Prior to becoming a columnist, Jeff served briefly as an attorney with the firm called BakerHostetler. He also served as a deputy manager of Raymond Shamie’s senatorial campaign in 1984. After Shamie’s loss, Jeff worked as an assistant to John Silber for 15 months. He worked with the then-president of Boston University.
Currently, Jeff is a member of the board of the nation’s oldest free public lecture series, the Ford Hall Forum. Jeff’s column started appearing on the op-ed page of The Boston Globe in 1004.
