However, since January 2022, his morning hours were cut. Additionally, Jack joined WFLA in 1970 with stints from 1970-1974, 1975-1986, and again since 1993 with stints in the market at 104.7 WRBQ and 93.3 WFLZ as well.

Before his firing, Jack had been on and off with WFLA since 1970. The decision shocked Jack and he wished they had given him one more show to say goodbye to the fans. With April’s Fools day coming, his wife Joy thought it was a prank. However, he disclosed his firing was not a joke and he was done with WFLA.
