Hari Sreenivasan is an American journalist working at PBS NewsHour as a Senior Correspondent and contributor for the nightly program since 2009. In addition, he also serves as a host at SciTech Now, Amanpour, and Company, and Take On Fake.

Previously, Hari worked at CBS News reporting for CBS Sunday Morning, CBS Evening News, and The Early Show. Before working at CBS News, he worked for ABC News as an anchor and correspondent where he worked broadly on the station’s 24-hour digital service called “ABC News Now.”  Throughout his career journey, he has received various nominations for his work from CBS, Frontline, and PBS NewsHour. Hari Sreenivasan Leaves PBS

He joined the station PBS NewsHour in the year 2009 working as a senior correspondent for the nightly program as well as an anchor for PBS NewsHour Weekend. However, in early April 2022, Hari left his position as an anchor for the PBS NewsHour Weekend editions. His leaving the show was a result of part of a behind-the-scenes shift.
