Geoff Bennett (Geoffrey Robinson Bennett) is an American journalist currently working as an anchor for PBS News Weekend and as a chief Washington correspondent for PBS NewsHour. Previously, he worked for NBC News based in Washington, District of Columbia as the White House Correspondent from November 2017 – October 2021.
Prior to joining NBC News, Geoff worked at NPR as the White House Reporter and Congressional Reporter. Before that, he covered Capitol Hill as well as national politics for NY1 News in New York City and more than a handful of other Time Warner-owned cable news stations all over the country.
