Willie Brown thinks that former US President Donald Trump is going down in political history for being the worst president. That’s no surprise because Willie Brown is the former Assembly speaker and the mayor is a San Francisco liberal. But Ed is a career Republican strategist,  he managed Former President Reagan’s re-election in 1984  and won by a landslide. he as well led a super PAC in 2020 that backed President Trump, raising more than $60 million. In 2016, Ed also ran a pro-Trump fundraising PAC.

Trump “turned out to be a terrible president,” Ed told Wilie .“He never understood the game. And this last thing he did, what he’s being impeached on, was just appalling.“He never took the time to learn the process to govern. Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, there’s a process.” Ed had raised funds to help Trump win re-election but they lost it to the current US president Joe Biden.

“I wanted to still stay in the game,”  Ed continued. Their views about Trump show that Willie and Ed always have been opposites on core political issues. but have now teamed up to criticize the Trump administration.
