Demond Wilson is an American actor and author. He played Lamont Sanford, the son of Fred Sanford in the NBC sitcom Sanford and Son from 1972 to 77. Wilson also played Oscar Madison in The New Odd Couple from 1982 to 83. Additionally, he appeared in the film Me and the Kid in 1993.
Redd Foxx was his acting mentor. Moreover, Wilson served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 and was in the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam, where he was wounded.
