Gordon also worked as a DJ and a newscaster at a local radio station while he was still in High School. Additionally, he was the only television reporter from Pittsburgh who traveled to Vancouver, Canada for the coverage of the Winter Olympic Games in 2010. Before joining WPXI in 2004, Gordon was serving as a fill-in anchor and reporter for WXYZ in Detroit.
Melissa Magee is an American journalist and meteorologist. She works as a meteorologist at NBC4 in Los Angeles and can be seen on weekday newscasts at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Melissa joined the station in 2020 and co-hosted “Celebrating Black Excellence,” a 30-minute special in honor of Black History Month. Danielle is a holder of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist from the American Meteorological Society, which is a seal of approval. Before joining the station, she was working as a meteorologist in Indianapolis, for three years.
Kelly Avellino is an American-award-winning journalist who currently works for NBC12 News Chanel in Richmond, Virginia. She currently works as an anchor of NBC12 News Today Saturday and a multimedia journalist for NBC12 News. She joined the news channel in 2014. Kelly has reported on far-reaching stories from Black Lives Matter protests to the homicide of UVA student, Hannah Graham by a serial killer. She has also covered the story of a young boy living with a rare form of dwarfism, which earned an Emmy nomination, and a mini-documentary about a seven-year-old girl with AIDS who has been missing for two decades with her foster caregiver at the center of the investigation.
