Brian Regan Biography

Brian Regan is a popular American stand-up comedian known for his observational humor and elastic face. He has starred in many television shows and has had several Comedy Central Presents specials. Brian’s performances are always described as clean as he refrains from profanity and taboo subject matter.

His material typically covers everyday events, like shipping a package with UPS, mortgages, and visits to the optometrist. Brian began doing standup comedy in the 1980s and in 1991 made his television debut on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He later released his debut standup album, Brian Regan: Live in 1997 and has performed on several talk shows such as The Dennis Miller Show, Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Early Life And Education

He was born to a Catholic Irish-American family in Miami, Florida. He grew up in Westchester, Florida. Brian has seven siblings. His brother Dennis Regan is a stand-up comedian who worked for the CBS sitcom, The King of Queens from 2004 until 2007. Brian studied at Christopher Columbus High School. Later on, he enrolled at Heidelberg College in Ohio. In 1980, Brian dropped out of school to pursue stand-up comedy during his last semester. He completed his degree in 1997.

Brian appeared as Mugsy in the n comedy-drama television series Loudermilk. In December 2018, it was reported that Audience had renewed the series for a third season. In April 2020, Loudermilk was left without a home following the network ceasing operations.
